The project involved the comprehensive restoration, oiling, and painting of a timber deck situated in Mornington, covering an expansive area of approximately 180 square metres. Over time, the deck had suffered from the effects of weathering, becoming discoloured and worn due to continuous exposure to sunlight, moisture, and the general outdoor elements. This deterioration necessitated a thorough restoration process to bring the deck back to its former glory.

To begin the restoration, a meticulous cleaning of the entire deck surface was conducted. This step was crucial for removing accumulated dirt, grime, and any loose material that had settled over time. Proper preparation of the timber was essential to ensure a clean and consistent surface, setting the stage for the application of the new protective coating. The cleaning process not only enhanced the appearance of the deck but also ensured that the subsequent treatments would adhere properly.
